Parenting a child that is deaf/hard-of-hearing with additional medical needs or other diagnoses (DHH+) comes with unique challenges, and no one gets it more than those who have been there. The Michigan Hands & Voices ASTra Advocates have helped many families navigate the IEP process for students that are DHH with additional diagnoses that can impact their education experience. Learn about resources from them, ask questions and embrace knowing that you aren't alone as you support your child on their educational journey.
