Deck the Winter
Registration Closes November 18
Decorate the winter months with family fun in the comfort of your own home! Sign up to receive a mailed kit full of fun activities to engage the whole family. In addition, we’ll start the fun with a live online event on Saturday, December 7. Participate in one of the kit activities with other families through a story titled “We’re Going on a Gingerbread Hunt.”
Kits will be mailed out on November 25, 2024.
This event is offered as a collaboration between MDE-LIO, Camp Tuhsmeheta, DeafBlind Central, and Michigan Hands & Voices.

The internet is overflowing with resources, but how do you navigate finding the right ones? Join MDE-LIO and Michigan Hands & Voices as we explore resources to support children who are Deaf, DeafBlind, or Hard of Hearing. Building your knowledge will empower you to be an informed partner on your child’s educational team.
Each event in the series will be held virtually on Zoom from 8:00-9:00pm and will focus on a specific topic. During the first half of each session, we will explore three to four resources. The second half will be an open forum for participants to share their experiences with the resources, share other helpful resources they have found, and ask questions.
